BANANA ALMOND NUTMEG SMOOTHIE (raw-vegan)
One of my projects lately is to develop RUSTIC and SIMPLE smoothies that use few ingredients, are RAW and VEGAN and they have to taste GREAT! My BANANA ALMOND NUTMEG SMOOTHIE is all of the above. This smoothie is rich, thick, satisfying and SUPER healthy! Here’s to our health, CHEERS!
2 small ripe organic bananas, peel and quarter
1 cup unflavored/unsweetened raw organic almond milk (click for recipe)
1/2 tsp fresh micro-planed whole nutmeg
additional fresh micro-planed whole nutmeg to garnish with
In your blender add the ingredients and blend on high for 2 minutes. NOTE: this is a very thick smoothie(could eat with a spoon if you wanted to), if you prefer a thinner smoothie then slowly add more raw almond milk AFTER your initial ingredients are blended smooth.
