To start off, NO FLAMINGOS WERE HARMED in the making of this smoothie… My PINK FLAMINGO SMOOTHIE is named for the color not the ingredients. This beautiful smoothie resembles a Flamingo’s color but is made with red papaya, ruby red grapefruit, goji berries, strawberries, coconut water, Cara Cara orange and topped with dried orange peel. I didn’t think I could squeeze in any more fruit than that but it doesn’t need anything else. The results are a creamy and fruity delight in a glass. Start your day with a pink flamingo smoothie and feel nourished with all that is PINK. CHEERS to our HEALTH!


1 cup fresh ripe organic red papaya, small cubed

1 large organic ruby red grapefruit, peel and medium dice

1/4 cup fresh organic goji berries (I get raw sun dried berries and soak in water until plump, then drain)

1 cup fresh ripe organic strawberries, wash and de-stem, cut in half

1 organic Cara Cara orange, peel and medium dice

1/2 cup fresh organic young coconut water

1 tsp. fresh ground dried orange peel (from your orange peel grinder)

In your blender, blend the papaya, grapefruit and goji berries on high for 1 minute. Add the strawberries, orange and coconut water then blend on high for 3 minutes until smooth. Pour into your serving glass and top with the dried orange peel. DRINK UP!
