REFRESHING APPLE CUCUMBER CHIA SMOOTHIE (raw-vegan)
As part of my RUSTIC and SIMPLE SMOOTHIE COLLECTION, I want to include this favorite combination of mine- REFRESHING APPLE CUCUMBER CHIA SMOOTHIE. Yes you have a another raw and vegan smoothie to try on your cleanse, or because you need a pick-me-up mid day or just want to feel refreshed and hydrated. What ever the reason you grab one of these green beauties, your taste buds and tummy will sing…. CHEERS!
2 small organic baby jazz apples (or small red apples) quarter
1/2 medium organic cucumber, do NOT peel, quarter
1 cup water
1 tsp whole organic black chia seeds
In your blender, puree until smooth the apples and cucumber with the water. After this is smooth, add the chia seeds and give it a quick mix. Serve immediately.
NOTE: this is a thick shake like consistency (that’s how I like it), if your prefer it to be thinner add small amounts of water AFTER your ingredients are blended smooth (but before adding chia seeds) to achieve the desired consistency.
